Platinum Plan Preventive Maintenance Service
There's one common trait among all the generator brands...if they are not properly exercised and maintained, 50% of them won't work when you need them. There's few things more infuriating than spending a pile of dough on a standby generator system, then when the day comes that the power is out, you're greeted with a deafening silence when your generator should be purring along providing you with electricity.
In physics, its called the Law of Entropy. Anytime a complex system is left idle it comes unravelled. The only way to overcome this problem is frequent and comprehensive preventive maintenance. USGenerator now offers its Platinum Plan for $ 495.00 per year and is the best preventive maintenance program on the market. Three inspections are performed per year which are the annual inspections normally accomplished only once per year. In addition you get the Coastal Guard Corrosion Control System as part of the package This uses the USGen CXi anti-corrosion spray for the interior and the USGen CXe anti corrosion wax for the exterior. If we find existing corrosion we can remove it and treat the area with our special resin poxy paint* which will stop rust for ten years. This product soaks the rusted areas all the way down to bare metal and encapsulates the rust thus preventing oxygen from getting to it. *There's a $ 50.00 charge for materials should the generator need rust removal.
Generators Installed by Hardwire Electric and others
The recent recession has decimated many formerly successful companies either forcing them to suspend operations in some market areas or go completely out of business. If your generator system was installed by one of these companies, USGenerator can pick up your warranty and maintain your unit. Just give us a call and we'll take care of any paperwork and get you on a maintenance program if you so desire. Take a look at the page on this website entitled "Maintenance Programs for Existing Generators." Many units installed by "electricians" for Home Depot and Lowes have steel cabinets which are suffering from the corrosive coastal environment. We can stop the rust that has already started or replace your rusting cabinet with a one of corrosion resistant aluminum.
